Latif Shafaq Latif Dr. Lass ENG 241- E70N 12 Apr 2016 Writing Assignment #8 The most enjoyable and interesting work of literature for me was Benjamin Franklin’s “The Autobiography”. Personally, I enjoyed reading this text because it had so much information on the life of Benjamin Franklin. The information provided insight to Benjamin Franklin’s perception on business, life, and people. It also discusses Franklin’s accomplishments, and life experiences. The purpose of his autobiography is to record his memories, achievements, and the experiences he had in major historic events. “Thing most like living one’s life over again, seems to be a recollection of that life; and to make that recollection as durable as possible, the putting is down in writing”(482). My reaction to the story was very pleasing, and shocking. I did not know that he had to go through so

I also liked reading his accomplishments, and his experiences to become successful in life. I have an interest in history, and historical content, so this reading was very insightful and brought a lot of knowledge to me.
