CAS100B - Effective Speech Post-Class Analysis Assignment Summer 2015 In this assignment, you will simply provide a quick self-analysis of your speech giving and listening skills. There are no right or wrong answers as the survey is merely informational. In short, I want to know what you were able to get out of this course, and what I could be doing better. Prior to coming to class, how interested were you in the topic of public speaking? Not very, didn’t like doing it. Has your interest level changed as a result of this course? Not really Do you feel more comfortable with the idea of public speaking now? If yes, what in particular do you feel more comfortable about? If no, what still concerns you about speaking publicly? Not necessarily “more comfortable,” what I did realize though is that public speaking, like everything else, is very situational so comfort level really depends on who you’re talking to and talking to people who I won’t see after walking out the door doesn’t really bother me.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
