Attention Device: A. Unfortunately stress is apart of our everyday life and no matter how hard we try we can’t escape it. II. Topic Sentence: A. Everyone experiences stress throughout their life and it’s important to know how to handle it. III. Speaker credibility and goodwill: A. I personally have been in a lot of stressful situations so I know what it feels like. IV. Preview of message: A. Today I will be sharing some tips on how to deal with stress. Body I. Take a Break A. Taking a break allows time to step back and look at the bigger picture. Taking a break will be a welcome distraction. II. Get More Sleep

Unformatted text preview: A. The more sleep you get at night the better you will feel in the morning and the better you’ll be able to handle stressful situations as they happen. III. Just Say No A. Knowing when to say no is crucial when dealing with stress. Most people create stress or put themselves in stressful situations just by not saying no. IV. Talk to Someone A. Taking to someone can help you release tension and gain a new insight on the situation. Even if the problem doesn’t get solved it’s helpful having someone to listen to you. Conclusion I. Signal end of speech: A. The next time you guys find yourself in a stressful situations I hope you take these four tips into consideration. II. Reinforce central idea: A.
