Europa is a restaurant that is focused on taking food that has been cooked for centuries over in Europe and bringing a new and beautiful spin on the food for our guest. Europa will be focused on food items from Germany, Mediterranean area of France, and Italy. We will be a type of restaurant that will seem fine dining but be affordable for the average person, also serving beer, wine, and mixed drinks that are more popular in Europe than the United States. There will be three sections in the restaurant and in each section a waitress will be wearing an outfit from that area. The restaurant will be for casual dinners wearing nice shirts, jeans, or kakis. There will be a front of house manager, sous chef, and me who will be the General Manager, head chef, and owner. The front of house manager will focus on many different aspects of the restaurant, such as taking care of the bar, waitress, and any customers with issues that might arise. If any issues arise that they cannot handle I will come and deal with the situation myself. They will also have the task of scheduling and ordering the beer and liquor while keeping a proper count. My sous chef will be mostly in charge of the kitchen. They will be in charge of helping me changing and coming up with new menu ideas also ordering food for the restaurant. The days that I cannot be there they will be in charge of the restaurant or whatever manager that is on duty at that time. Europa caters to many different people the upper and lower class but having reasonable menu prices. One of the few features in the restaurant is the wine room behind the bar with a hidden door. The wine room is environmentally controlled, it also has large glass windows that 3 | P a g e

run the length of the bar. As soon as you walk in there will be a hostess stand and a coat rack for customers. To the left there would be a seating area for guest waiting to be seated, and to the right there would be an area for our guest to order full size cakes and desserts to take home. There will be four server stations so that the servers can keep up with the amount of seats in the area. Most of the restaurant is still there, for example the bar, bathrooms, server stations, expo line, and a walk-in is all done and still there. Location: 4 | P a g e

The challenge to Norfolk’s retail transformation does not lie in the size of the market, but in the trade area population, it is large enough to provide ample sales support we need. We must capitalize on this by maximizing attraction to suburban residents living within the trade area.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
