October 2015 ASTD Journal Articles McArdle, G. (2015, October). A Roadmap to Developing Training [Electronic Version]. T&D. This article provide five training design strategies to improve presentations and motivate trainees to partake in the learning process. In order to design a properly structured and organized training program, we must take training variables into consideration. These variables include training purpose levels, learner levers including trainer roles and decision making trainer roles. Learning style preferences allow us to identify how our trainees absorb information best. Once learning styles have been identified, we should develop instruction around these styles. Matching methods to learning outcomes is also essential to design strategy. This must be tied to the three knowledge levels which include declarative, procedural and strategic. The last strategy involves incorporating accelerated learning techniques. Examples include structured learning events such as case studies, brainstorming and self-assessments.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
