The program will be based on the concept of servant leadership. For those new to servant leadership, it involves the basic principle that leaders serve their employees and customers, put their self interest on the back burner and inspire team members to create and reach goals. The company has had recent success and CEO Cheryl Bachelder has been on record saying that the servant leadership management approach is the key factor for the turnaround in business. Within the last seven years, Popeyes has transformed into a growing profitable organization. After years of working and successfully making the business noteworthy again, corporate decided to place a greater emphasis on training and employee engagement. The belief is that these efforts will solidify long term success.
