Over this past Thanksgiving break weekend, I was watching the Chicago news and they had a story of Laquan McDonald case. The story was covered by NBC 5 Investigates, about a 5 minute segment, during the story they attempted to portray Laquan positively by having his graduation picture, showing his W2 and school grades. Seeing this set me off for some reason and I ended up sending an email to NBC expressing my disgust. When I’m at school I hardly watch the news, but when I’m at home I catch myself watching it frequently. The boy was only 17 years old, they can’t inform us of his juvenile record but they’re allowed to tell us his personal tax information. The entire week I was home I watched ABC,

They were sharing informa±on about the police o´cer, not his personal informa±on like Laquan’s but instead of using his academy picture they actually used a grungier image.
