Michael Morton In 1987, Michael Morton was wrongfully accused of murdering his wife by a Texas court. He spent almost 25 years in prison after he was convicted, before being release from prison. The prosecutor in the case withheld evidence from the courts, which later proved that Morton was innocent. It was determined that the DNA evidence, that supported his innocence, matched that of a man who was already in jail for committing a murder against a completely different woman. The prosecutor was charged with contempt of the court and Morton was rewarded a large lump sum of money to compensate for the time spent in time.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
