Kant’s Ethics Fundamental principles of the metaphysics of morals PG 126-132 Metaphysics of Morals Meta= beyond, physics= the physicals. Meta+physics= beyond the physical. Cant touch it smell it, see it, etc. how do you know its there? You don’t. You cant prove it. You can only assume that it is there. Moral laws apply to everybody. Thou shall not kill. If we find intelligent life on other planets they must also abide by the moral laws, they shall not kill. There’s only one thing in the world is always good without qualification and that is goodwill. Something is only morally valuable if accompanied by a good will. Intelligence is not always good. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
