They bought the safe at an auction where the auctioneer let them know that there was no key found for the internal compartment of the safe and made no comment that the contents were not to be included in the sale of the safe. Without having that statement made, the Mitchells understood that they were paying for and taking possession of the safe and its contents. As a reasonable person, I would conclude this to be the case as well since the estate contracted the auction house to offer the items for sale and the auctioneer accepted the offer made by the Mitchells....
