Research Identification 2 Introduction Common sense would tell us that parents that are addicted to drugs would automatically have an effect on their children, but studies and statistics show that just because something happens after something else, does not mean that it is the cause of it. This is a reason to do research which involves numbers to scientifically prove the theories. This essay will attempt to show the difference in research and will explore and explain the reason why different research are used. Identify the study by title and authors This study aimed at identifying familiar risk factors due to parents that were addicted to drugs, and if in fact it had an effect on their onset. In light of the study result, it can be inferred that in the families the addicts were naturally introduced to, familial danger elements fit for impacting their psychosocial development and favoring drug dependence onset had been measurably all the more every now and again experienced among youth and immaturity when compared to normal children. (Jukić, V. 2012) Determine what question(s) the authors are trying to answer by doing this research Psychoanalytical theories “have pointed towards several familial factors considered of importance not only for the onset of addiction, but other psychological disorders as well” (Jukić, V. 2012). The question (s) that the authors aim to answer are, “Are there risk factors on parent (s) onset due to addiction”.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
