Assignment #12 Five new/current American Sign Language products SignMasters is a board game to help master and review ASL vocabulary with your friends, family and classmates. The game is played with three to eight players and each player is challenged to sign, acted out productions and sign sentences. If a player fails to perform then they lose a turn, if they success and move on. There are over a 1000 vocabulary words. Four for you! Fables and Fairy Tales Series- DVD and Activity Packet set. This teaching set comes ready for students to learn. The DVD include a standard fairy tale, and a second rendition “dramatized version with limited use of props”. What is wonderful about this kit is that it is set up for the younger generation to learn about deaf culture in the form of their favorite familiar stories. Then they get to review with fun worksheets that encourage them to remember things they saw. Examples of the included packet crossword puzzles, word find challenges,

Rainbow’s End- This set of DVD’s focus on characters using American Sign Language, to create a positive self-image for Deaf children while offering entertainment and education. A study of American Deaf Folklore by Susan Rutherford, looks s at the different forms of sign play and discusses the traditional forms in the Deaf community. The text also discusses the importance of folklore in providing creative outlets for Deaf culture. American Freedom Speeches and Notebook includes important historical Figures in history who have made an impact in history with their speeches. It includes a background of the time period leading up to the speech, a brief background on the speaker, a written version of the speech, video translation highlighting the words of the speech as it is shown in American Sign Language....
