His art was well known and highly recognized in the Deaf community. During his lifetime, he was a painter, an actor, a storyteller, a sculptor, and a teacher during his 35-year career. He created murals that still stand today, including a 150-foot collage for the Learning Center for the Deaf Children in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1995, and the “The Five Panels: Deaf Experiences” at Gallaudet University.
