Justifications of innovations and novel aspect of your design (concept generation) - Justifications of innovations and novel aspect of the design are created by matching the needs identified earlier with the parameters in place to create an effective product - As mentioned in the previous presentation, some of the needs we identified were: o Reduction of garbage created by drink paraphernalia o Consumer friendliness and functionality in varying conditions and situations o Effective chemical composition of material being utilized (i.e. ductile, brittle, insoluble, etc.) o Edible and taste appeal o Conditions of disintegration Temperature stability and solubility Decomposition Solidity against other liquids Quality vs. cost to manufacturer and consumer Addressing innovative aspect choices - Light weight o The product had to be light weight to provide ease of portability to the consumer - Easily disposable o Consumers are looking for an easy alternative that requires minimal effort and provides the same service as a regular glass
