Fall Classes Each class runs from September until mid-December for 2 hours one evening per week. How To Take Better Digital Photos This class is designed for people who have taken digital photographs and now want to enhance their skills and abilities to produce high- quality creative photographs beyond basic snapshots. Through the use of video training materials, lecture, demonstration, and hands-on assignments, students will be challenged to use their cameras in new and creative ways. Upon the completion of the course students will be able to use all of the controls available on their cameras to take high- quality photographs of a variety of subjects in all kinds of shooting conditions. Curt Greiger, professional photographer and Bay Shore Art Center photo instructor will guide you through setting up and using professional studio lighting. This class involves demonstrations, video tutorials, and direct hands-on shooting experience with the equipment. Using ±lters and modi±ers, students will create a variety of lighting styles for portraits, product photography, and other lighting challenges. Introduction to Drawing and Painting Students new to drawing and painting learn the fundamentals of art and design while sampling drawing and painting techniques using a variety of media, including watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and oils....
