Bias, audience, and subject matter played a major role in the miscommunication. We could have been better prepared by knowing the subject matter in greater detail and understanding while keeping in mind the several point of views that the subject may raise as well as knowing the audience. People are also convinced when it is something that touches a subject that is part of their core belief system. We could use some of these in wri²en form to create an impact in them that may be hard to disagree with.
