Noel Averruz En. 1320 U2 Ex.1 Final Reflection on writing My attitude toward writing at the beginning of this course was that I realized that I was a bit inexperienced in the art of writing. I was excited to learn new techniques to help me write properly and flowingly. I was optimistic and eager to learn the many genres and things I knew nothing about regarding how to properly compose a high score English paper using the different writing styles. I had previously had some experience writing a resume, cover letter, profile, commentaries, reviews, and high school level research papers. I had little idea what APA style writing was before beginning this course and little idea of the other styles that are acceptable in English courses overall. I now feel that I am better at writing because I have learned the many different styles and genres as well as how to structure my paper accordingly. I have learned how to cite properly and use words and sentences in a way that catches and holds my reader’s attention. I had the most difficulty with writing when it came to making the time I needed to write a great paper. It was always difficult when it came to transitioning between ideas and making them make sense and follow the story line. It was also difficult when writers block happened because you are supposed to take a break and come back to the writing and not abandon it completely or losing complete track of the point I was trying to get across....
