English 115 October 15, 2007 Pro choices Abortion is murder and in violation of human rights, pro-choice equals pro-death. Life begins at conception; taking it away is unfair and morally wrong. Although there are extenuating circumstances that may entitle an abortion –rape-, the majority of excuses are that of convenience. In the horrific event that a woman becomes pregnant through rape, she is unfairly pinned with the burden of conception. Being a mother should be a choice, not an unfair punishment caused by criminal. This is an appealing circumstance to have an abortion, however; it is unfair to punish the fetus for the father’s sin. The majority of people that are anti-choice are those of strong religious views (anti-choice, 2007). Although religion has far less influence in North-America than in the past (Comparative religion, 2007), most morals are derived from religion and should be respected. It is a sin to commit murder; violators will spend eternity in the burning depths of hell, right?
