LastName1Ms. Karina CadoraComposition 1 (ENGL 1301)January 25, 2016Descriptive Essay on a Day at Burj KhalifaThe first time I heard, my family and I am going on a trip outside country, I was sure to convince everyone, with my excitement and insights, to visit the tall skyscraper that was recentlyinaugurated named Burj Khalifa — the tallest tower in Dubai, UAE, Middle East and World; it istwo times taller than Empire State Building in New York City and three times taller than Eiffel Tower in Paris, located in Dubai— a city in United Arab Emirates. Why I wanted to visit this specific tower is because apart from achieving the World Record for being the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, has achieved six more World Records including tallest freestanding structure, highest number of stories, highest occupied floor, highest outdoor observation deck, elevator with longest travel distance, and tallest service elevator in the world. As I was very excited, I was impatiently waiting our journey from Texas, USA to Dubai, UAE to be completed. When we arrived to Burj Khalifa from airport by the taxi, we stepped into the main gate, the door opened automatically, and we have greeted by their staff— the staff was very nice and welcoming. We looked around; everything looked perfect— they must have
