Jonathan Simmons ENGL 1301 Professor Ramos Education Styles Throughout the education life of anyone, many things are guaranteed to happen; one of this is the fact that you will experience several styles of education. There are many different styles, from completely hands-on approaches where the coursework consists of solving problems based on real life applications and working closely with the instructor. On the other end of the spectrum are lecture classes, many of these just have the instructor lecturing from notes, expecting you to learn the material without much outside help. Many students can benefit more from one certain style than they can the others. There are certain key differences in these two educational styles, how grades are collected, how involved the class is in the teaching method and how the student could react to each teaching style. Grades are a major component in any class you take; in almost every case you are taking the class with hopes of receiving a high grade in it. How these grades are given out
