Topic:Has online learning changed the dimensions of education?Introduction:Since the invention of the electronic devices into the educational field, leaning has become verilyeasy for the teachers as well as the students. The pros of the e learning in the educationalinstitutes cannot be neglected. While the inception of the recent pandemic, e earning has given ashake of help to the educational institutions. Educational institutes have been succumbed tolockdown whereby students are facing a huge dearth with the decision of the closure of schoolsand universities (Mapuva, 2009). Thereby, undertaking the given circumstances, the onlineleaning has come up as a relief for the students whereby they can continue their leaning with thehelp of the internet facilities and other applications and software’s that have eased the learningfor the students. The introduction of software’s such as Google Classroom, zoom technology andMoodle LMS which has not only facilitated the learning for the students but has given them anequal chance to learn like the traditional learning. There are both supportive and opposingreasons for online education in this regard (Wei and Chou, 2020). One considerable benefit isthat one can access the learning platforms simply with a smartphone, computer, laptop, or tablet, you can access online classes from anywhere. Simply having a secure internet connection willget you anywhere, including receiving a lecture from a Stanford or MIT professor. Onlinelearning has become available for free on websites such as Edx, Coursera, and other platformsthat facilitate learning (Maznah and Hussain, n.d.).With the rise of cloud computing and digital devices, traditional learning is changing. Newlearning methods are now open, and better connectivity is one of the most significant advantages.Corporations must now cope with more dynamic and unpredictable issues as a result ofglobalization. In order to thrive and prosper in this world, businesses must keep up with the timesand become more creative and successful. People's professional growth and growth are beinggiven new options and accessibility thanks to online learning. Whereas traditional academiccredentials could formerly only be obtained by enrolling in a full-time on-site course, the internethas enabled universities to broaden their scope and deliver recognized classes on a contact-partial or completely virtual basis (Zanjani, 2016). Establishments can do that with very littleadditional funding, which is fantastic value for money for paying classes, and students benefitfrom better college opportunity and versatility to train and get certified even though they have alot of many other personal obligations.Traditional learning vs E-learning:While traditional learning has been considered as the sole way to get education, the newer modesof learning such as that of the online learning has widely been disregarded by many scholars. Asper some people, e-learning is more effective on higher levels, whereas traditional learning needsto be compulsory in the initial years of learning. However, the consideration of online learning athigher educational levels deprives the students from practical implementation of their acquiredknowledge. Classroom learning allows students and teachers to get to know one another better.
