Background
Policy monitoring helps organisations to study the process of developing, implementing, and
assessing policies. Data on the creation and implementation of specific policies can be
collected and analysed through policy monitoring initiatives.
Policy Monitoring and Enforcement Strategy outlines the minimum operations set to monitor
and audit the organization’s networks. The policy’s minimum practices serve to establish a
maintained awareness of the state of operating environment and serve as an indicator of any
security issues or breaches and therefore provide the assurance that the organisation’s
networks are used for legitimate purposes
Access Control and virus protection are the two policies that I would be most concerned about
in terms of monitoring and enforcement.
