The nervous system (brain, spinal chord, and nerves), and the endocrine system (glands, tissues, and cells that release hormones in the blood stream). Know the how the two control systems work together You see a threat and your hypothalamus releases a chemical wake up call to your pituitary gland, which releases ACTH into bloodstream. Sympathetic nerves make the adrenal gland release adrenaline. Adrenaline causes your heart to accelerate and thus heightened reflexes and strength. So endocrine system aids nervous system. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
