TASKS FOR SUBMISSION TO YOUR TUTOR
TASK 1
Prepare a set of 8 cue cards for use in class. Each card is to show a
different nationality, for example French, Spanish, Chinese, American,
Greek, etc. Include more than one image on a card but not too many, so
that the cards are not too eclectic and the images are easy to see from a
distance. The images may include a country's flag, a person wearing a
national costume, a famous landmark, etc. Illustrations taken from books
or from the internet are acceptable, however you need to demonstrate
that you have done some work on the design and not copied ready
flashcards from the web. Good presentation will gain better marks.
Upload your cards and submit them as a Word (.doc/.docx), Adobe (.pdf)
file or a PowerPoint (.ppt) presentation.

TASK 2
Prepare a lesson in which you could usefully include the set of cue
cards which you prepared in Task 1.
First indicate the level and age of your students. Then write the aim and
the length of your lesson. Then write a plan. Use the Presentation-
Practice-Production model on pages 5-9 of Unit 3 Module 3 to guide you.
In this module you will be primarily evaluated on your use of visual aids
to develop language.
