P a g e | 2 Executive Summary Way-to-go Clean is a pick-up meal service restaurant, serving fast, fresh, healthy meals to the Shoals. The first store will be located in Tuscumbia, AL with aggressive growth plans of one new store every 12 months. Way-to-go Clean is a Shoals locally owned business partnership with Traci Carr, Alexandria Nunnelly, and Christian Caldwell as co-founders and owners. The Market Our target market is Shoals’ locals with interests in health and fitness. This market includes individuals of both genders and families. Way-To-Go Clean will be operating within the pick-up service/deli niche of the restaurant industry, competing against fast food and traditional deli restaurants. Services and Products Way-To-Go Clean provides an unmet on-the-go experience. All patrons receive excellent customer service, encouraging them to return. The menu offerings are fast, simple, healthy, and convenient. All meals are freshly made and prepackaged for the customer to heat and eat on the go. Competitive Edge The customer experience is extremely important as an effective way of distinguishing Way-To-Go Clean. Having such a good experience will encourage repeat business. The second competitive edge is Way-To- Go Clean’s offering of fast, healthy food that is budget friendly. Management Traci Carr – co-founder and owner. Finances and Operations Christopher Pennie – cofounder and owner. Human Resources Our Mission Way-To-Go Clean’s mission is to become the premier on-the-go health food service for the Shoals area. This will be accomplished by offering an unprecedented experience coupled with great tasting, healthy food and reasonable prices.

P a g e | 3 Market Analysis 1.1 Industry: The United States of America is known worldwide for its obesity epidemic, and Alabama is currently ranked fifth for the highest percent of adults and children who are considered obese. Cancer rates are at an all-time high and diabetes and heart disease are running rampant. Health awareness is growing as many are aware of the epidemic and are working to correct it. While many have heard the term “clean eating” many do not fully understand what it means and even more have no idea how to apply clean eating to their own lives. Way-to-go Clean is the solution for the Shoals area. For decades, companies such as Jenny Craig and NutriSystem were notoriously known for shipping entire months’ worth of processed, packaged foods properly portioned for weight loss. Advances in science, technology, and the trusted toll of time have told that while weight loss was achieved, total health was not. Preservatives and additives have since been found to hinder the journey to health.
