The 10 Most Important Questions a Business Plan Should Answer (Table 6.4, page 203) 1. Is the business just an idea, or is it an opportunity with real potential? 2. Is the product or service viable? Does it add significant value to the customer? Has a feasibility analysis been completed? If so, what are the results? 3. Is the business entering an exciting, growing industry, and has the firm identified an attractive position within the industry? 4. Does the business have a well-defined target market? 5. Does the business have points of differentiation that truly separate it from its competitors? Are these points of differentiation sustainable? 6. Does the business have a sound marketing plan? 7. Is the management team experienced, skilled, and up to the task of launching the new firm? 8. Is the business's operations plan appropriate and sound? 9. Are the assumptions that the firm is basing its financial projections on realistic? 10. Are the financial projections completed correctly, and do they project a bright future for the firm?

Executive Summary Way-to-go Clean is a pick-up meal service restaurant, serving fast, fresh, healthy meals to the Shoals. The first store will be located in Tuscumbia, AL with aggressive growth plans of one new store every 12 months. Way-to-go Clean is a Shoals locally owned business with Traci Carr as co-founder. The Market Our target market is Shoals’ locals with interests in health and fitness. This market includes individuals of both genders and families. Way-To-Go Clean will be operating within the pick-up service/deli niche of the restaurant industry, competing against fast food and traditional deli restaurants. Services and Products Way-To-Go Clean provides an unmet on-the-go experience. All patrons receive excellent customer service, encouraging them to return. The menu offerings are fast, simple, healthy, and easy to prepare. All meals are freshly made and prepackaged for the customer to heat and eat on the go. Competitive Edge The customer experience is extremely important as an effective way of distinguishing Way-To-Go Clean. Having such a good experience will encourage repeat business. The second competitive edge is Way-To- Go Clean’s offering of fast, healthy food. Management Traci Carr has spent twelve years in the restaurant industry. Traci is currently finishing up her degree in business management at the University of North Alabama. Mission Way-To-Go Clean’s mission is to become the premier on-the-go health food service for the Shoals area. This will be accomplished by offering an unprecedented experience coupled with great food and reasonable prices.
