Lindsay Kramer Biology 100-01 David Spector 10/15/07 Observation Paper I spent approximately an hour observing my 3 cats. As some background information, I have a 14 year old cat named Sam who tends to keep to himself and doesn’t do a lot. Then there’s my cat Molly who is 10 months old, loves to cuddle, and is very active. And lastly, my brothers cat (Molly’s brother) Willie who is 10 months old, very cuddly, but more laid back than his sister. The observations began as my eldest cat Sam rested on an upstairs sofa, as he does all the time. However Molly and Willie were stared out our glass front door watching nature, and waging their tails lightly. Suddenly Molly ran to the basement rolled around on the floor, and groomed herself. Seconds later Willie followed, and helped by grooming her head for her. After a while passed, Molly had noticed me sitting on the stairs, so she came over and brushed by me, purring. Then Willie walked to the litter box where he went to the bathroom and threw sand over his droppings. As this is happening Molly is entertained by following a bug walking across the
