Small, solid, & relatively close
together; all except Earth are
covered with craters
Gas Giants
•
Made mostly of gases, including
their surface; may have a solid
core

Outer planets: Jupiter, Saturn,
Uranus, & Neptune
•
Massive compared to the inner
planets; far away from each other
