Seth Plummer Week 2 Class Discussion In week two of class we talked about Pluralism and Truth. From our reading and class discussion, my understanding of pluralism is that one can mix all “popular” religions together and still have some commonalities. The most important commonality to me is the phrase… “I am the way, and the truth, and the life” (Hanson, 321). I am sure that there are common phrases in other major religions such as Judaism, Buddhism, and, Islam. Now I wonder where truth comes into play. My understanding is that we as religious people are all intertwined. We all believe that there is a higher power and that that power has come or will come. When I whittle it down, I wonder if we are actually believing in the same God but calling him different names…Jesus, Allah, God, and Buddha. I guess I am full of questions. That has always been a burning question of mine, which may lead to a solution. I wonder if somebody where to figure out if we were all praying to the same god that that act
