During the 6th century B.C.E. which was an amazing time of philosophical
growth for ancient China, two most influential spiritual leaders, Confucius and
Lao-tzu, are thought to have lived and taught.
In this lesson you will learn about the brief history, core teachings,
fundamental beliefs, practices, and related issues of Confucianism and Taoism
as a religion and a philosophy.
