You will be completing a lab simulation for this part of the assignment.
To access the Cell Division Gizmo:
 go to and log in to the site. The username and
password for the Gizmo site can be found on the main Biology 30 Moodle
page in the Student Information box. Click “Find Gizmos” enter “ Cell
Division Gizmo” in the search bar.
Procedure and questions:
On the SIMULATION pane of the Cell Division Gizmo, check that the Cycle Length
is set to 12 hours. Put a check mark in the Magnify box. Click Play ( ), and
hold the cursor over the cell(s). Observe the cell as it divides several times.
