William Vahey Section 3031 Of the Theme of Love This poem obviously falls into category five. Margaret Cavendish, the writer of the poem, refers to love as “tired” and compares it to a tree which was once full of fruit but has been fed upon until it has nothing left. Cavendish writes about how the tree is climbed by many poets.
