William Vahey Rhetoric Literature Professor Fleming 29 October 2007 Macbeth The Macbeth play took place at the Naval Academy’s own Mahan Hall on the 23 rd of October and was more than extravagant. Charlotte Allam, Will Ashcroft, Chris Donnelly, Dan Winter and Brigid Zengeni from “Actors From the London Stage” perfectly portrayed over twenty characters in one of Shakespeare’s more famous plays. The set was less than amazing, however, the “Actors From the London Stage” travel to different colleges with no more than a back-drop and their costumes. Even though the set only consisted of six chairs, the actors brought the set to life and made it seem like much more. The scenes went by quickly and the actors maintained the momentum of the play by acting as multiple characters and even changing costumes on stage. Brigid Zengeni had an extravagant performance. Zenegi acted as Donalbain, Ross, Menteth, Fleance, Lady Macbeth, and the Third Witch and she did an excellent job of setting the tone with her body movements and the different ways
