 McBean  1 Cassie McBean February 29, 2008 English 102  IRAC Statement: Which Parent Should Move?  Is it in the best interest of the child for primary custody to be granted to the  mother when the she claims that the roots of the child are in San Mateo County,  approximately 200 miles from where the child’s father lives?  According to the law, the best interest of the child will occur when: “1. The wishes  of the child’s parent or parents as to his custody”, 2. “The interaction and  interrelationship of the child with his parent or parents, his siblings, and any other  person who may significantly affect the child’s best interest”, and 3.” The child’s  adjustment to his home, school, and community.”  In the first rule statement “The wishes of the child’s parent or  parents as to his custody,” both of the parents wanted Joshua. Pamela (the mother)
