Dear Mrs. Cocca,          I have decided to write you a small note, thanking you for your help. By allowing me to  observe you at the Gowanda afterschool program you have helped me gain a great insight on  what being a teacher is all about. I enjoyed being taught by you immensely; you are an excellent  teacher and have inspired me to continue learning with an open and positive mind. I appreciate  all your hard work, it’s meant so much to me. You run a great program there and I hope it can  continue for a long time because of all its benefits to the students. I can not thank you enough  for letting me come and help you out.  I just wanted to keep in touch with you because I see you  as a role model and a fellow teacher someday. My college email address is

Unformatted text preview: john8394@fredonia.edu incase you lost it. And also thank you so much for allowing me to use you as a reference. It really means a lot to me and it shows I made a positive impact on you. And one more thing, I received a brief email about an opportunity to tutor at Gowanda next semester. I have not heard back yet, but the grant pays pretty well and was kind of interested in the chance to help again. I am not sure if you have any connection to that but the guy has not gotten back to me in a few weeks and was wondering if you knew anything more about it. Thanks again for everything you have done. Much Thanks, Eric M. Johnston...
