The purpose of this assignment is for students to find a scholarly article on comics, read the article, and write a paper that includes the following: 1. This shouldn’t just cover the central thesis, but also consider the author’s method and how he/she proves or reinforces his/her thesis. 2. The student’s opinion about the piece as a whole, along with justification for such an opinion.
