Stefanie Carter14 November 2015CHFD220 I013Professor Amy AlexanderI am not sure this is a popular cartoon but to me it says a lot about elderly people and theirsexuality. Due to aging “the tissue in your breasts and the structure of your breasts begin tochange.” This causes the breast to be less firm and full because it loses the elasticity. While inmen “by age 65, about 15 to 25%” they have a problem trying to get and/or keep an erection. Ibelieve this cartoon says it all. They are an elderly couple who obviously love each other andsupport each other even sexually. They don’t give up on each other. He knows that even with herbody changing from whenever he first met her he still loves her and believes she is beautiful.Even if her breast droop, her face and body wrinkle, and her hair is grey. But on the other handhe has had some changes as well. The wild and crazy sex they once had does not happenanymore because “his erection may not be as firm or as large as it used to be.” He may have losthis hair or some has colored grey. He also may have wrinkles over his body but she still loveshim and supports hi. With a man that can not get an erection the man may need more foreplay. When I was about 21 I dated a guy that was 38 and he had an episode after 5 months ofdating where he could not get it up. We ended up stepping back and taking a break becauseeverything we tried didn’t work. But this time I cooked and fed him and I always have chocolatein my place so I fed it to him. “In the early 1980s, researchers thought they had solved themystery of our love affair with chocolate. They detected the chemical phenyl ethylamine (PEA)
