Modern agriculture starts off by explaining that America, although it does not seem like it, has one of the greatest agricultural history due to the fact that hunger was not as common, synthetic fertilizers along with insect, weed, and disease control was improved in control with better soil management. The yield increase is still steadily going and that is achieving a satisfying amount of production of food levels. American agriculture scientists use Socratic approach in their search to find the best possible way of living with the growing and producing plants. With time going by, agriculture’s sustainability is asked upon. Issues such as pesticides or production or sustainability is questioned. Problems like pesticides affecting not only the farm animals, but also humans and wildlife come into play as some farmers have been caught of misusing their pesticides. With that being addressed, a new problem arises. With use of pesticides, etc. maintenance of this sort within small farms can and will make food produced and
