For this week's reading I have decided to dive into the workplace, and study workplace conflict resolution, and solutions that managers can offer in order to quickly resolve conflict in the workplace. The article that I have read, entitle "10 Tips for Tackling the Toughest Workplace Conflicts" goes into great detail about workplace conflict resolution, and some great points that outline solutions. Maintaining a positive outlook, waiting for both parties have calmed down, and active listening are by far the most important; however according to (Harper) the most strenuous type of workplace conflict is workplace conflict that does not become resolved. Workplace conflict that does not become resolved can become a larger issue, and should be viewed as detrimental. Considering 'your' role in the conflict is another point of consideration that should be considered when looking for conflict in the workplace. Harper, J.
