Jim and Laura did buy a car. Based on my past experiences with car dealers, if you aregiving them money then you have to get some kind of proof of what that money is supposed togo to. This could apply to a car dealership, an apartment complex or any other kind of paymentthat you are making. You always to need to have a paper trail so cases like this. It will just end upyour word against the other party and the burden will fall on you to prove what the money wassupposed to go to. They might not have now that they entered a contract when they left but theydid and here’s how.From what I have learned so far, a contract is an agreement that creates obligations thatare enforceable by the law. A contract can either be written or spoken. There are elements to acontract that make it valid and binding. This is defined as a clear manifestation of willingness toenter an agreement made by another person with full understanding that their assent to thebargain is an invitation and is concluded. As to whether there was an offer in this case, yes thereis an offer. When Stan Salesman offered Jim and Laura time for a test drive and they finallychose and agreed to buy the blue car it was a clear offer. The element of acceptance basically
