1. Communities have changed drastically due to technology. In the beginning societies developed their place of living in certain areas. Things like water and food were a main factor in where people used to set up their homes, for example many of the best cities in America are founded around rivers or oceans for transportation, energy, and food. However, it is different today; communities are set up for different reasons. Now people set up their homes based living conditions, prices, families, attractions, and any other necessities. Communities before the advancement of technology were all set up around a common area so that a society could congregate easily without having to travel large distances. The common area was usually a large field, similar to a park, with churches stores and homes surrounding it. With the development in technology in society this allowed us to find other means of communication and travel, which eventually changed how we set up our cities and towns.
