Medical Office Administration Diana Shannon May 15, 2016 Competency - Report relevant information to others succinctly and accurately 1. Mrs. Riveria came in the office today for a follow up visit. She had previously had some blood work done and is here for results. I attempted to inform her of the results. I explained to Mrs. Riveria that she needs to start taking cholesterol medication. But she was not understanding. Mrs. Riveria does not speak or understand English very well as this is not her first language. Luckily, I remember that April, another office personnel member, speaks fluent Spanish. I have April come and interpret for me the necessary information for Mrs. Riveria. 2. Traci, MA: Hello, may I speak to Mr. Jackson please? Mr. Jackson: This is he, how can I help you? Traci, MA: Hi, Mr. Jackson. This is Traci, I am calling from Dr. Robertson’s office regarding the results of your recent lipid panel testing. We have your results back and I wanted to talk to you about them today. Everyone has good and bad cholesterol. The goal is to keep both of these at the best levels for you.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
