Mark Angelo A. De VicenteGlobal WarmingGlobal warming is the phenomenon known for its increasing temperatures near thesurface of the Earth over the past century. Human activities like burning fossil fuels, oils, coals, and natural gasses are thought to have a significant role in these phenomena, particularly ingreenhouse gas emissions. CO2 and other air pollutants collect in the atmosphere, absorbingsunlight and solar energy that has rebounded off the earth's surface, resulting in globalwarming. Under normal conditions, this heat radiation bounces back into space, but thesegreenhouse gasses, which may stay in the atmosphere for years or centuries, trap heat andcause global warming. The greenhouse effect is caused by heat-trapping pollutants such ascarbon dioxide, methane, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC), and other gases. There are a lot of ways we can make in our lives to help avert global warming andrescue our world. First, all forms of deforestation must be stopped. More tree cutting will justadd to the quantity of CO2 in the atmosphere. Instead, urge people to join environmentalcampaign projects like tree planting and many more. Second, reduce the number of fossil fuelsburned. Instead of burning fossil fuels, replacing ordinary bulbs with eco-friendly ones will save
