POLITICAL SCIENCE 16 EXAM 1 STUDY GUIDE (SPRING 2008) Exam 1 will consist of a short essay section, in which you will answer TWO short essay questions I provide, and a long essay section, in which you will answer the long essay question I have provided on this study guide. Each short essay question is worth 25 points and the long essay is worth 50 points ( 100 total possible points ). You will have 80 minutes to complete the exam from when you start. You will write on the exam itself. Please bring your student ID (otherwise, you cannot take the exam), The Great Political Theories book only , and at least two pens and/or pencils. Remember that you must take Exam 1 on either Monday, March 3 or Tuesday, March 4 at the Rocklin, Truckee-Tahoe, or NCC testing center s. Please contact the testing center for their hours of operation on the day you opt to take Exam 1. For those of you who are taking the exam at an alternative, instructor-approved site, the same dates apply. You should have already contacted me about having an alternative proctor (need one week notice; see syllabus). If you have any questions, please email me as soon as possible.
