Introduction
In this given report the concept of information system will be reflected. The basic aim of this
assignment is to reflect experience of information system by using a four-steps of Kolb’s
learning cycle. Kolb’s learning cycle is an effective and an integrated process of reflective
knowledge collected from the various sources. There are four different process are available like
concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization and active
experimentation. The aim of this steps are different from each other but contains an effective
scenario to reflect the collected information. In this assignment five different modules are given
which will be reflected in all such four different steps. The modules are based on different parts
of information system like business information, security aspect in information system and many
more.
Reflective Observation
During this trimester I have learnt about information system. An information system is a process
of storing, collecting and processing data for providing knowledge and information. Nowadays
information system is available everywhere like in digital world, technological world, corporate
world, business world and many more. The information system is associated to the technology
for providing strategic advantage for many business organization. The concept of knowledge
management is also connected with the information system where the data management process
and data integrity used to be define and explain.
One thing which attracted me is the concept of virtualization is increasing day by day in this
world and usability of data is also there. The data has become the core part for any kind of
information like in the process of virtualization data is influencing the business strategy. An
example of this aspect is Netflix where there are lot of data are available in form of videos. The
services of business information system has also an impact which used to provide information
that organization use to manage themselves with an effective manner. All possible components
like hardware, data management, software management, development process and many more
are integrated in business information system. In business organization strategy development
approach is very important because to grow in the real-world market the strategy of the
organization should be effective so that more customer can attract towards them.
