Danjczek 2 On Thursday, December 6, 2007, I had the opportunity of attending the December Concert presented by the George Mason University Dance Company. This was the third dance concert that I had ever attended; I attended all three of these dance concerts in the span of a few months while enrolled in Modern Dance at George Mason University. I must admit that I did not know what to expect from this concert as the one thing that I took away from my Modern Dance class is that dance has several different styles in which different dance concerts may perform. Before attending the first concert, presented by the Martha Graham Dance Company, I assumed that all dance concerts were ballets consisting of ballerinas in tutus with serious faces doing leaps, pirouettes, arabesques, relevés, pliés, as well as other traditional moves. I also assumed that there would be no plot or story. To be quite honest, I was not expecting to enjoy any of the
