JOB TITLE: Credit Analyst I
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Exempt
REPORTS TO: SVP Credit Manager
Position Summary
The Credit Analyst I is an entry level position designed to develop new analysts through credit training and hands-
on experience by analyzing financial statements, preparing loan packages, and providing other assistance as needed
to the senior credit team and lending staff.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Analyzes and performs credit analysis on new, renewal and existing loans within accepted bank designated
guidelines.
2. Prepares thorough and concise memos, spread sheets, reports, and summaries for Loan Officers on new,
renewal and existing loans within established deadlines.
3. Effectively manages the bank’s exposure to identified risks and recommends appropriate structure for
transaction in accordance with Susser Bank’s credit policy.
4. Oversees and manages financial information files to assure current reports, statements, accounts receivable
and other information on accounts, and notifies Loan Officers of any potential problems in a timely
manner.
5. Establishes, reviews and updates new and existing loan files for the Bank on a regular basis.
