HUMAN RESOURCE IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT 2 GLOBALIZATION: It is the process that involves the integration in the international front. As such it arises from the exchanging of worldviews, suggestions, ideas and any other aspects related to culture. There are major factors in globalization. They include advancements in transport, telecommunications infrastructure such as the rise of telegraphs and the use of internet. The factors play a major role in the generation of the further interdependence of both the economic and cultural activities (Al-Rodhan, 2006). The term globalization is in use over the years by scholars. In the year 200, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) gave out the four major pillars of globalization. They include trade and transactions, capital and investment movements, the migration and movement of people and lastly are the dissemination of knowledge. However, there are other factors that are related to globalization. They include climate change, cross-boundary water and air pollution and the act of overfishing in the oceans. Therefore, globalization is a process affects or affected by business and work organization, economics, the socio-cultural resources, and the natural environment. The global movement of people and their goods, ideas, rose significantly in the early 19th century. In the 20th century, aspects such as road transportation, intermodal transportation and airlines enhanced and made transportation to be more efficient since it was faster enough. In the field of electronic communications, mobile phones and the usage of internet connected many people all over the world through the new ways by the year 2010. Looking at the term globalization, it is from the word global that means the emergence of an international network comprising of economic systems.

HUMAN RESOURCE IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT 3 In the advent of the 20th century, there were major improvements in the transport and communication in the international business. The international business includes commercial transactions comprising of private sales, investments, logistics and the transportation. They occur between regions, countries or nations that supersede their political boundaries. Therefore, the international diversification is in relation with the firm performance including innovation that is in positive use in the former but negative associated with the latter. Private companies use such transactions for profit. Such business transactions involve in economic issues that include capital, natural and the human resources that are in use in the international production of physical goods and services. They include finance, banking, insurance, construction and any other productive activities (Martell, 2010).
