February 13, 2008 Meditation Homework #3 1. “Each day presents a new opportunity to awaken in a sacred manner.” (Sit, Walk, Eat) a. I found this quote to be helpful in my overall day. By waking up with a positive feeling, I found that the day overall could go much better. Usually when my alarm goes off and I drag myself out of bed, I have a hard time being positive, but it is amazing what an optimistic attitude can do throughout the day. The three deep breaths make the day seem easier. 2. “Stop beneath the showerhead with the water running over your head and face. Become aware of your feelings.” (Sit, Walk, Eat) a. This is something I have done all my life. I just have always found it to be relaxing and easy. My father used to get so upset, because I would use up all of the hot water just standing under the shower until the water turned cold. But maybe it was just because this was the only thing in this article that I was doing, so it was the only way I became grounded… 3. “As you get ready to leave your home, consciously approach the door.
