Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night – By Dylan Thomas My Paraphrase of the Poem: Do not die without a fight, At the end of the day, you may be old; But rage and fight to stay away from that light. Wise men know when it is their time to die, Even though they may have not say anything, Do not die without a fight. Good men weep about how happy That their lives mush have been (dancing in a green bay) But rage and fight to stay away from that light. Wild men who enjoyed their lives in the sun, Learn too late that they took it for granted Do not die without a fight. Grave men near death who are blind, Blind as they can be but still lived a happy life But rage and fight to stay away from that light. And you, my father, so close to leaving me, I pray that you curse me and bless me as you cry. Do not die without a fight, But rage and fight to stay away from that light.
